I also did not find an enemy that is made easier by parrying (like Black Knights in DS) so that is a gameplay thing that can be safely ignored. This also means some attacks execute faster then you can get your parry ready. Parries are really unreliable and have to be started extremely early since for the slower ones it almost takes a second to reach the active frame. It’s like a million of them out there.Īnother souls vet here: most of it comes down to the timing being rather akward in this game. But don’t worry man as you progress through, you’ll find the blood code for you. Sadly the best tank code in the game is close to the end of the game, it’s in the Provisional Government Center (GSX Defender). If you’re not good at dodging, and would like to take a couple more hits before being put down, then the Silver garb with the Zweihander and Atlas will be a good fit. These enemies are roided and aroused from beginning to end it’s ridiculous honestly. BUT what I do agree with you on is that you’ll take as much as 5 hits regardless if you’re a ninja, a tank, a sorcerer, doesn’t matter lol. For instance u won’t want a curved one-handed sword with a bulky ass blood code or you’ll for sure get put in the mud. What I try to do is have a blood code that compliments my play style (dexterity, dodging swifty built) and use a weapon that magnifies your play style. Your Blood code is what will help you the most. It takes a lot of timing and practice to even be decent in the game. So comparing dark souls to this game is far from asinine. & this game is so similar to Dark Souls, it could be called Dark Souls 4. Okay that comment probably gave him little to no help lol.
